Yay thanks I feel much more included now! How precisely do you warm up a canoe? Just don't do what my friend did: he strapped his new canoe onto the roof of his car and at one point on his journey he breaked and the canoe slid off backwards into the car behind's windscreen!
er...surely if you brake shouldn't the canoe go forwards? or am i just being thick?!

Well you go forwards to start with but eventually things get thrown backwards - I'll demonstrate for you by doing an emergency stop mext time you're in my car. Hence people getting whiplash!
